Join the Data Analyst Training programme with the BI Professional (Dr. Onah) for a comprehensive 3-month course with two sessions per week.

 

Learn the foundational skills of data analytics, how to elicit requirements, manage stakeholders, quality-check your data in Excel, and build dashboards using Looker Studio and PowerBI. Get personalized job prep with CV reviews and interview coaching. Master the skills you need for a successful career as a data analyst.

 

PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

  • Two sessions every week (Sunday and Tuesdays).

​

  • The Sunday sessions will include working through the course materials and hands-on sessions using key Business Intelligence (BI) Tools such as Excel, Looker Studio and PowerBI.

​

  • The Tuesday sessions would be specifically allocated for questions and answers.

​

  • There will be take-home exercises to consolidate class learning.​

​

  • 3-month programme with 25 sessions.

​

  • Finally, this programme will include one-to-one sessions for CV reviews and interview preparation guidance.

 

At the end of the programme, you will be equipped with the skills and confidence needed to become a successful data analyst.

Meet your Trainer

Unlock the power of data and analytics with me as your trainer! With over a decade of experience and a rich background spanning esteemed organizations like the Nigerian National Bureau of Statistics, Hewlett and Packard, and the Cabinet Office, I bring a wealth of experience in data analysis. I am an experienced trainer, having taught undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Manchester, and most recently worked as a BI Developer for a Data and AI MBA course.

With a PhD in Data Analytics and Society, I've delved deep into data science, utilizing Python, SQL, and R to tackle intricate health, population and social media data. Equipped with a versatile toolkit, I thrive in developing innovative BI solutions from conception to execution.

 

I will teach you the foundations of data analysis, the act of gathering requirements, the importance of quality checking, and hands-on sessions on using Looker Studio and PowerBI.
